This lightly spiced drink is packed with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, thanks to the turmeric + pepper combo. A touch of maple syrup adds just the right amount of sweetness!
In a small saucepan, add the almond milk, coconut oil, maple syrup, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon and ginger (optional).
Whisk to combine the ingredients over medium heat until warm.
If you have a milk frother on hand, feel free to use that to make the drink thick and frothy!
Top with additional black pepper and drink immediately.
