Easy Golden Turmeric Latte

This lightly spiced drink is packed with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, thanks to the turmeric + pepper combo. A touch of maple syrup adds just the right amount of sweetness!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • .5 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 3-4 turns black pepper
  • few shakes cinnamon powder
  • freshly grated ginger (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, add the almond milk, coconut oil, maple syrup, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon and ginger (optional).

  2. Whisk to combine the ingredients over medium heat until warm.

  3. If you have a milk frother on hand, feel free to use that to make the drink thick and frothy!

  4. Top with additional black pepper and drink immediately.
