This one-pot, super easy golden turmeric latte recipe has only 7 ingredients and you can be sipping it in under 5 minutes!

Have you ever made a golden turmeric latte? Now is the time!

Turmeric is one powerful herb! It has been used for centuries for it’s healing properties. The curcumin found in turmeric has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. While curcumin is not easy absorbed into the bloodstream, consuming it with black pepper enhances absorption. So don’t skip this important ingredient! Also, the addition of coconut oil in this recipe helps our bodies to absorb turmeric! Don’t fear those healthy fats!

Easy Golden Turmeric Latte

This lightly spiced drink is packed with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, thanks to the turmeric + pepper combo. A touch of maple syrup adds just the right amount of sweetness!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • .5 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 3-4 turns black pepper
  • few shakes cinnamon powder
  • freshly grated ginger (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, add the almond milk, coconut oil, maple syrup, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon and ginger (optional).

  2. Whisk to combine the ingredients over medium heat until warm.

  3. If you have a milk frother on hand, feel free to use that to make the drink thick and frothy!

  4. Top with additional black pepper and drink immediately.
